Lame right?
But that's the way it is until we move to Portland. Bedtime is eight and we get up between three thirty and three forty five.... In the morning... No, scratch that... That is not morning... That is the middle of the night!!! Okay, it's not that bad. I adjusted a lot more quickly than I had expected.
I am loving the new job! It is seriously like a freaking vacation from my last job. There is a ton of knowledge to absorb and I am beyond excited. Plus it sounds better at parties as opposed to telling people I work at a collection agency... PLUS I can show my tattoos!!! I was totally terrified of that when I got the job, but it is not an issue. The environment is fairly relaxed but that's because the site is more production vs face-to-face. It's not like the head of a vascular department is going to walk in the front office tomorrow. Yea... Yea... I am loving the change!
It's also cool getting to commute with Collin everyday. Gives us time to talk without being distracted by TV or cooking or anything other than traffic... The not so cool part of the commuting (for now) is the potential for severe weather... It is winter in Oregon after all. Tomorrow, case in point, if it is too nasty when I get off (nasty == ice AND snow) then we will be staying in Portland for the night. We already packed an overnight bag and threw it in the truck. According to the forecast we should be okay but better to plan for the worst case scenario, right?
If we have a kids, I figure once they turn five they can decide how they wear their hair. If we have a boy and they don't want to take care of their hair (shower on a regular basis) I will shave their heads.... Same goes for any girls we have... Muawahahahahahaha!!!!
Okay.... There is a ton more to post about but I am too tired to do it right now... Maybe later... Like, tomorrow, or the next day......
