A Butterfly Net and A Gun

Ah..... Sitting here, drinking a glass of chocolate milk and marveling at all the things I did today....

First, I actually slept in! Until 10am! Which is insanely late for me, for those of you who don't know. It was awesome! I might have to try doing that more often. And, even though I slept in that late (which means I wasn't fully functional until 10:30, quarter to eleven), I accomplished so much!

After I was fully awake, I made breakfast for myself, got on the interweb and paid a couple bills, and started laundry. Then I got down to business and went through all  the clothes in my closet and dresser and by the time I was done had found almost two suitcases worth of clothing that needed to go to Goodwill! After folding all of it and stacking it in my desk chair, I decided my breakfast had had enough time to settle so I worked out for forty five minutes on the elliptical and watched the last two episodes of season two of Weeds (yet another show I am hopelessly addicted to!).

When I was done working out I decided if I was going to drive to Goodwill, I was going to make it a worthwhile trip. I then proceeded to go through my entire closet (because since I was a little girl the closet is where I throw all the junk I don't want to deal with!), and the linen closet, AND the pots & pan cupboard in the kitchen AND "kitchen gadget" drawer. Between those four places I found enough stuff to load the back of the Blazer! Some "Spring Cleansing" was definitely in order.... I also moved a bunch of things (like our tent) out to the garage where they belong!

Now I have an open shelf in the linen closet, my closet is organized, and the shelf in my closet is empty. It's just amazing!

.... Now, I just need to get Collin to purge all the junk in the spare bedroom, which is essentially his domain. I have asked him before, and I hate to be pushy but I think I am going to give him two weeks (that's four and a half days off [half day because of his traffic court on the 27th]) to clean up and purge all the crap in that room or I am going to do it. If I do it most of it will end up at Goodwill (unless I know he values it; like his bow or something...). If he plans on selling some of the electronic stuff, that's fine, then he can use the money to pay his traffic ticket in the event he loses in court! I can be so mean sometimes, but he knows I love him. I will definitely be discussing this with him tonight...

I guess I should go finish making dinner now... Yummy turkey burgers and steak fries! Gosh, I wonder what I will accomplish tomorrow! Ha Ha! (I will most likely just chillax tomorrow!)
